Mokuba is the Japanese word for “rock-

ing horse” an Japanese/Danish design

team of Takashi Okamura and Erik Mar-

quardsen created this pleasantly light-

hearted wooden horse. In honor of their

125th anniversary, Brdr. Krüger will be

producing Mokuba for the first time, in

a limited numbered edition.

The rocking horse’s friendly appeal

is a hit with children, while grownups

treasure its timeless design. Mokuba’s

sturdy tail is made of vegetable-tanned

leather, using natural materials such as

plant extracts, bark, and fallen fruit.

–Polished, rounded

beech wood for small

hands–

Each of the 200 rocking horses have a

small, stainless steel plate on their belly,

which contains the Brdr. Krüger logo,

and the horse’s number in the series.

Mokuba meets all current safety re-

quirements, as approved by the Danish

Technological Institute and like every

Brdr. Krüger product, Mokuba is also

proudly Made in Denmark.

we welcome you

to celebr ate

125 years of dedicated

cr aftsm anshiP

with us

Our story began in 1886, when Danish broth-

ers Theodor and Ferdinand Krüger opened a

wood turning shop in Copenhagen.

Five generations and 125 years later, our busi-

ness is still family run and owned, working with

prominent architects and designers to create

beautiful pieces that reflects the Danish and

Nordic aesthetic of simplicity and practical-

ity. Our craftsmanship comes from the heart,

with a strong ethic of quality and passion be-

ing handed down through generations of the

Krüger family.

We hope that you enjoy each piece just as

much as we do.
