MoH compiles list of ‘absentees’ before start of Eid Al-Fitr holiday Justice minister launches e-signature project KUWAIT CITY, July 20: Ministry of Health has been compiling the list of names of staff who were absent from work before Eid Al-Fitr holiday to mon- itor those who were on duty during the period, and services at the call cen- ters were sustained to ensure that people could report any lackluster atti- tude they observed in all ministry facilities, reports Al-Anba daily. A source said the ministry stipulated that 36 health cen- ters and public hospitals across all health regions were working optimally during the holiday. He said the Inspection Committee checked the attendance logs to ensure that staff resumed and departed from their various locations at the right time, and they followed the fingerprint system. He revealed that sector Undersecretary Dr Khalid Al- Sahlawi issued a directive to the Inspection Committee to monitor the attendance, and anybody found guilty of violation should be referred for official proce- dures. He said the ministry is deter- mined to provide quality services and won’t condone any act of insolence, reiterating the inspec- tion covered doctors, nurses, technicians and administrative staff. Meanwhile, Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, the Minister of Justice Yacoub Al-Sane’ launched the Ministry of Justice’s e-signature project in cooperation with the Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI), reports Al- Seyassah daily. He indicated e-signature proj- ect is among the basic infrastruc- ture of e-government that enables the government authorities to expand their services using civil ID.
