    "The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

respectfully retains ties to the land,

reflecting pride in its historic roots."

    THE SPIRIT OF THE KINGDOM

For almost 70 years, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has continuously developed

its role as a key energy provider to the world. A vast number of dedicated

companies, scholars, researchers and individuals have embraced this duty with

dedication and unwavering commitment, to enable the people of the world to

benefit from modern energy driven lifestyles.

This increasingly rare worldwide commodity is seen as a gift which demands

duty, responsibility, protection and a level of due diligence that is beyond

    compare.

New research on the discovery of oil deposits indicates a clear future for the

Kingdoms role as the leading provider of the worlds energy. To assure this, the

companies and the individuals involved must continue to remain committed to

growth, expansion and developing the necessary infrastructure to meet

    worldwide demand.

For 50 years, MMG has shared a commitment to this duty and the benefits

associated with it, amongst the nationals of the Kingdom, the resident

expatriates and leading energy related companies from around the world.

As a result, MMG has had the honour of being a key contributor to the

Kingdoms highly technical and labour intensive energy supply process for

almost all of the economic lifespan of the Saudi energy sector. As this sector

has grown, so has MMGs commitment to deliver from its ever growing family of

over 10,000 skillfully trained national and international employees.

"The key to MMG's success has been the

steadfast availability of reliable, safe and

cost effective solutions to its valued clients."

MMG was the first Saudi company to offer a fully serviced fleet of vessels

with dedicated equipment and skilled manpower to service Saudi Aramco's

    offshore projects.

MMG owns and operates a full charter of nineteen vessels covering offshore

construction, maintenance and drilling support for oil rigs and oil production

The company has established a central procurement function unit to coordinate

all procurement activity throughout MMG. The units role is to implement

approved procurement policies and to optimise the quality and cost of all

inputs. The unit has developed a strategic procurement plan, which aims to

develop close business relationships with key suppliers, including a steady

    reciprocal flow of relevant information.

Based on the detailed material list compiled during the preparation of tender,

the company will either procure the materials as required under the scope of

work or procure the list of items through the nominated central procurement

    entity.

Procurement is normally divided into two phases; procurement of fabrication

"The ultimate goal for MMG is to create

a platform where quality, accuracy and

    completed services meet. "

Over the decades, key industry organisations have entrusted MMG with the

responsibility to collect, transport, maintain, store and issue both small and

large scale material components required for plant instrumentation,

    construction and operation.

To deliver this service, MMG maintains several warehouses in the Kingdom

to provide storage for the huge demand of supplies required for individual

projects. These facilities stock items such as employee consumables, tools,

heavy machinery and vehicle spare parts.

These warehouses have developed specialised systems to effectively and

efficiently handle the logistics process. Dedicated computerised inventory,

insurance, transportation and physical warehousing systems provide the

cornerstones of this division, which ensure the safe and timely logistical

management of materials for the development of the Kingdoms industrial

    plants.

Through highly specialised practical and theoretical education programmes,

Saudi and expatriate employees learn the skills which enable them to obtain the

    required international standard qualifications.

MMGs initial training facility, located at the steel and fabrication factory,

currently accommodates up to 544 trainees. The first of its kind in the region,

the training facility represents the initial phase of MMGs plans for educating its

growing skilled workforce. One of the very few companies in the Kingdom

qualified to perform live welding works in plants, MMGs training programmes

produce graduates of the highest calibre.

    Employee Welfare

MMG assumes a duty of care to the many expatriate employees who live in its

accommodation. Providing a safe, social and recreational living environment has

resulted in a 10 year average tenure of employment across the 10,000

workforce. MMGs standing as a responsible employer is well recognised within

    the industry.

MMG owns and maintains various self-sufficient camp facilities for its employeesthroughout the Kingdom. These facilities are built close to major industrial

developments to facilitate easy transit of MMG employees to the project

worksites. The companys biggest camp with a capacity of 5,000 workers is

being built in Rabigh to cater for the forthcoming projects in that region. Other

on-going expansion include facilities in Jubail.
