Audio Visual Walk Through Missions 2016
Part 1: In today’s world it is key that we take work we create digitally and showcase it for others. We leave a digital footprint: https://www.commonsensemedia.org/video/modal/4241346 Why would we want our work to be searchable? Part 2: Creating our digital footprint of our Missions. In order to craft our video walk throughs, we need to draft a script, we need to practice, we need to be confident.

Part 4: Creating a MinecraftEDU Quicktime Video
1. Open up Minecraft
2. Log in with your name, etc.
3. Find your section of the Mission
4. Press escape and open QuickTime (You can go to spotlight search and type in Quicktime Player”
5. Go to File and select “New Screen Recording”
6. Click on drop down menu and select “Built in microphone”
7. Turn volume to low
8. Click on Red dot to begin recording/ Drag cursor to cover Minecraft screen only
9. Give us a tour of your mission (read your script).
10. Escape to finish
11. Stop in Finder
12. Save As Last Name
13. Save to desktop
Part 5: Finalizing Video Walk through in iMovie
1. Open iMovie 2. Click Create 3. Click Movie 4. Select No theme 5. Click Create 6. It will ask you to name the movie and select the event from which the clips will
come. 7. Name the movie “Teacherlastname.Yourlastname” 8. Rename the event “Missions 2016”
9. Now you need to import your movie clip. 10. Click the import arrow 11. Select Desktop folder 12. Click file. 13. Select Import Selected 14. File is placed in the events section of iMovie, it should be placed in the event
you renamed. Pictures and steps:
15. Select the clip by double clicking on it. It will have a yellow border around it now.
16. Hover over the end of the clip, and click the plus sign and your clip will be
added to your movie in the bottom section of the screen. You can also drag your movie clip into that section.
17. Trim your clip so that it sounds good at the start and the end by dragging the playhead to where you want your clip to start and then right clicking on clip. A drop down menu will appear and you need to select trim to playhead. This will delete whatever is to the left of the playhead. You want to trim the part of the video where you can see your cursor click back to Minecraft and where you see your cursor click off of minecraft. Reapeat with the end of your
18. Add title screen and closing screen. Drag your chosen title to the start of your walk
through.
Fill in the information needed:
TitleMission ___: Room Do not put your name
1. Add in a transition between title and the movie 2. Place a fade to black transition at the end of the clip
Sharing Video
1. Click share in the upper right corner of the iMovie screen 2. Select File 3. Title your movie: LastnameMission2015 4. Change quality to Medium 5. Click Next 6. Be sure movie will save to Desktop 7. Click Save 8. A circle appears in the upper right when it turns totally white it has saved
Sharing Video to Teacher
1. Open Finder 2. Click on Airdrop 3. Drag video file to teachers computer icon that appears as a circle in the airdrop window
