T4T Training March 24 by Andrew Huesing, People Teams Leader

In order to reach the 4,000 Iraqis in Kansas City, you would have to enlist ten people to share the Gospel with 400 people for each Iraqi to even hear the Gospel once. If you enlisted 100 people, that’s 40 people each. There are at least 5 ethnic groups in KC larger than the Iraqis and many more groups who need missionaries. To reach them all with the Gospel, we need to raise up hundreds of workers, so we need a simple and effective tool to share the Gospel, make disciples, and gather them into churches. If you haven’t heard about T4T or if you need a refresher to rethink how you’re going about making disciples, please plan on joining us at Fellowship Greenwood on March 24th.People Group Research – you can still get a prayer guide for the nations in KC. View it here http://online.fliphtml5.com/wiwc/xnuz/#p=1 or ask me for a paper copy or order any amount for $1.60 each. If you know of a Christian college student with interest in missions who would be interested in a Summer internship or mission trip where they discover people groups in Kansas City or a nearby metropolitan area, let Andrew Huesing know at [email protected].

News from the Churches

Vancouver PartnershipOnce again the BR-KC Association is hosting a Family Retreat for the Church Planters in the WestCoast Baptist Association of Vancouver. We have a team of 10 people that will be traveling to Vancouver from February 5th through the 8th to minister to more than 80 planter/pastors, wives and children. We will be providing leadership and resources in the area of marriage and family as well worship and devotion time. During the retreat, we provide child care for all the kids so the parents can experience a time of encouragement and refreshment. Please be in prayer for the team as they travel as well as all the church planters and families who are ministering in a spiritually difficult city. If you want more information on how your church can get involved in this partnership, please contact Chane Hutton at 816-550-0513.
