We have a Geographic Information System (GIS) whose function is to develop, to manage, and maintain updated the database graphical and alphanumeric of district jurisdiction by using physical information from properties and urban component. It is also in charge of the implementation and updating of GISCAT (Cadastral GIS) which facilitates the exchange information among various municipal departments and people. Alert Platform Miraflores is digital closed circuit TV with 68 cameras installed and placed strategically in the district which allows us to watch: individuals and / or suspicious vehicles, traffic accidents, recyclers, and any unusual situation. 1. Community Miraflores is recognized as a major tourist destination. Its history can be traced from the oldest remains found in the archaeological site of Huaca Pucllana, ancient ceremonial center of the Lima culture (200-700 AD) to modern times. In its architectural lines joins the charm of old stately mansions and villas that speak of the glory of his past. It also has modern shopping malls, clubs and restaurants offering a variety of national and international cuisine. Under the same sky, Miraflores meets first class hotels, gift shops, art galleries, theaters and recreational centers of various kinds. It has even been organized and tidy street selling displaying their wares in attractive strollers that are attracting visitors. To admire the Miraflores coastline, there are seawalls and natural viewpoints from those seen beautiful sunsets and the majesty and immensity of the sea. Accompanying the show the beauty of the great parks adorned with a diverse and colorful flowers that invite you to visit them and enjoy them in pleasant walks.

Miraflores is also noted for its nightlife as its doors open at sunset, offering local varieties of entertainment, such as clubs, nightclubs, theaters, cinemas, bars, among others. An important cultural activity is also reflected in public places. At the heart of the district, you can find the Amphitheatre Chabuca Granda Central Park and close to exhibition and sale of handicrafts made by artisans from around the country in the rotunda of Kennedy Park. Often our parks are the scene of various shows and outdoor activities. Even, every year our busy central park houses the Book Fair "Ricardo Palma" during the month of November.

2. The leader

Jorge Muñoz Wells, Mayor of Miraflores, is lifelong miraflorian. He is a family man, married for nineteen years, father of three children. Possess a law degree from Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. Active person and athlete. Among his favorite sports include tennis, cycling, swimming and football. Similarly, he can be found running every morning by jetties with the group Miraflores District Peru Runners, which is a member. He has participated in marathons, like New York, and triathlons, as both posts individually. He served as a private attorney and as a university lecturer. He worked in prestigious law firms and telecommunications companies and mining. It enjoys great local experience. It was City Manager (1996 to 1998), Alderman (1999 to 2010) and Deputy Mayor (2003 to 2006) of the Municipality of Miraflores by the Democratic Party Somos Peru. Total management courses conducted in Japan scholarship and public safety in Israel, which led to the visit of Israeli experts in security, who helped implement policies for the Public Safety Central de Miraflores, having made assessments and simulations in the district to continuous improvement in safety. Personally maintains a Facebook page, a Twitter account and a public profile on Google Plus.
