MINUTES OF TECHNICAL SCRUTINY MEETING FOR THE PURCHASE OF MEDICINES (DISPOSABLE / SURGICAL ITEMS & GENERAL ITEMS , FOR THE YEAR 2014-15 IN THE OFFICE OF EXECUTIVE DISTRICT OFFICER (HEALTH)

CHAKWAL. The Meeting of Technical Scrutiny Committee for the purchase of medicine,

disposable / surgical items was held on 29.10.2014 at 10.30 AM in the committee

room of EDO (Health) Office Chakwal, comprising of the following officers.

2. Dr. Sultan Mohammad Alamgir DDO (H) (Member).

3. Dr. Ashfaq Ahmed Salik DO (Health-III) (Member).

4. Dr. Syed Iqrar Hussain Shah Surgeon DHQ Hospital.

5. Dr. Mustajab Haider Physician DHQ Hospital.

6. Dr. Ali Ammar Deputy MS DHQ Hospital Chakwal.

7. Raja Allah Ditta District Drug Inspector (Member)

8. Dr. Zafar Abbas Radiologist DHQ Hospital Chakwal.

The meeting was started with the recitation from Holy Quran. 29 (Twenty nine)

files of tenderers were presented to the Technical Scrutiny Committee. The

Technical Scrutiny Committee pointed out the discrepancies and queries raised in

the bidders files which may be conveyed to the concerned firms. The decision of the

committee is as under.

The Technical Scrutiny Committee unanimously agreed to issue following directions

to the approved suppliers. The samples provided by the firms were commercial ones

and provisionally accepted.

a. Packing must be in Green Colour.

b. Remarks must be quoted “NOT FOR SALE PUNJAB

GOVERNMENT/DISTRICT GOVERNMENT PROPERTY”.

c. The syrups should be supplied in Glass /pet Bottle with sealed

caps.

d. Tablets should be supplied in Aluminum Strips/Blister Packs, where

required as per Scheduled of requirements/ specifications.

e. Expiry date must be printed in each aluminum Strips/Blister Packs.

f. Every item must be supplied along with leaflets which has already

mentioned in the Scheduled of requirements.

g. Injections, Syrups, Suspensions, Measuring Cups, Spoons and

Leaflets packing must be supplied as per specification. The labeling

instructions should also meet the specification.

Failing these instructions, the Technical Scrutiny Committee has the right not

to purchase any item. The Financial Bid for the rejected firm should not be

opened according to the PPRA Rules.
