Disaster Relief Kits - Troop 73 Life Scout Nick Gimbert is working with UMCOR and the Fishersville United Methodist Church on his Eagle project to collect materials and funds to be used in putting together disaster relief hygiene kits. It is his hope to be able to put together at least fifty kits by July 15. Would you consider donating a hygiene kit? He has placed a collection box in the colonnade that will be there until the end of June. Thank you! A hygiene kit consists of: 1 hand towel (not kitchen or microfiber), 1 washcloth, 1 comb, 1 metal nail file or clippers, 1 bar soap (3oz or larger), 6 adhesive bandages, $1.00 for purchase of toothpaste. Thank You! Dear Westminster members. Our family can not begin to put into words how grateful we are for all of the prayers, love and support you shared with us while our son Hampton was in the NICU. We feel so fortunate to have the connection and fellow-ship of Westminster and feel that we have truly found our church home. Hampton loves his prayer quilt to have tummy time and feel all the love from the church. We are also so incredibility grateful for the gift bag and gift card that helped us cover the cost of the gas to get back and forth from the hospital and home. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts! Evan, Rebecca and Hampton Steele

Landscaping with Love (Finance Ministry's 2019 Mission with Stuarts Draft FFA) The finance ministry

communicates with the Cancer center at August Health to find families in need of landscaping. Often time they

do not have the energy to do chores around the house. On Saturday, June 1, we weeded flower beds, cleared poison ivy, and mulched. We also cleared a

space near their pool where they want to put down sod. We hauled some top soil to fill in holes that a dog had dug. After we finished working, we grilled lunch there and a few of us jumped in his pool. It was a beautiful day for it. Many thanks to the Rider family for serving.
