OVERALL…After picking up a win in their home opener last night against Hershey, the Admirals begin a season-long four-game road trip today in Chicago. Milwaukee is 3-0 to start their 42nd season of professional hockey and 18th as a member of the American Hockey League. Following today’s contest the Ads will fly out to California for games on Wednesday in Ontario and Friday in San Diego before finishing off the trip where it started: Oct. 21 in Chicago. VS THE WOLVES…The Admirals head down to Chicago for the first of 12 meetings between the teams and the first of six at the Allstate. This is a match-up of undefeated clubs as the Wolves also enter tonight’s contest with a 3-0 mark after dispatching Grand Rapids 5-1 last night. In those three games they have outscored their opponents 13-4. Greg Quinney (2g-2a), Brandon Pirri (1g-3a), Daniel Carr (4a), and Curtis McKenzie (4a) are tied for the team lead with four points. Former Admiral Jimmy Oligny is +1 in three games with Chicago.

WHO’S HOT…Rocco Grimaldi picked up an assist last night and now has points in all three Admiral wins this season… Tyler Gaudet has goals in back-to-back games…The Admirals are the only team in the AHL who is yet to surrender a power-play going a perfect 9- for-9 in three games.

LAST GAME…The Admirals picked up goals from five different players as they cruised to a 5-1 win over Hershey last night in the Ads home opener. Milwaukee raced to a 5-0 second period lead off of tallies from Yakov Trenin, Matt Donovan, Tyler Gaudet, Eeli Tolvanen, and Nick Baptiste while Troy Grosenick won his second start of the season by stopping 24 of 25 shots.
