Sidewinder snakeThe common name Sidewinder is an illusion to its unusual way of getting around. Its body moves across the sand in a side ward motion leaving a J like Patten in the sand. Sidewinding is also a primary way of moving. The Sidewinder snake is a venomous snake but is weak to other rattle snakes.

CamelA Camel does not store water in their humps. Camels humps are just fatty tissue. The Scientific name for a camel is genus Camelus. Did you know that camels did not have humps they evolved over the years.

Hairy scorpion The hairy scorpion is venomous to prey such as insects but they are not dangerous to humans unless you are allergic. They are 8-9 different types of hairy scorpions. And can grow to about 14-15 cm long.

The saguaro cactus. has a waxy skin and is covered in about two inch spines which are located on the trees vertical spines. In May and June the cactus grows a creamy white flowers with a yellow centers that measure up to about three inches.
