Project OverviewPhase 2 of the Metro Expo Line project is a 6.6-mile extension of the 80-station Metro Rail System from the existing station at Culver City.
It includes seven new stations, some with parking. The alignment is primarily at-grade, is parallel to I-10, and ends in Santa Monica.
Phase 2 extends westward to Santa Monica from the Metro Expo Line Culver City Station and runs along the old Pacific Electric Exposition right-of-way to 4th St and Colorado Av in downtown Santa Monica. All stations provide safe and convenient customer interfaces and site connectivity, and reflect Metro’s systemwide state-of-the-art design standards. Phase 2 includes new stations at:

> 26th St/Bergamot
> 17th St/SMC
