• About a young mermaid willing to sacrifice her life in the sea and her identity as a mermaid to gain a human soul and the love of a human prince.

• Andersen was familiar with traditional and literary lore about mermaids and other water creatures but the tale is completely his invention .

• Following a violent storm, a beautiful and sassy mermaid named Aquamarine washes ashore and into the lives of two teenage girls. After Aquamarine falls for a local, hunky lifeguard, she enlists the girls’ help to win his heart.

Sara Paxton • Inside movie:• Aquamarine--- Sara Paxton• Aquamarine is an independent mermaid who swims

away from home to avoid being married off to an arrogant merman. If she can prove to her father that love exists ,then she can call off the arranged marriage.

• Outside movie: • She was born in 1988 ,only 21 years old• One of Hollywood’s hot young stars • Began acting at the age of six• In addition to acting, Sara is also a singer, releasing

a single titled “Here We Go Again” on Epic Records.

Let me tell you the story…• AQUAMARINE is the story of Claire and Hailey ,two

13-year-old best friends who embark on the adventure of their lives when they discover a mermaid named Aquamarine in a swimming pool.

• Meanwhile, Claire and Hailey are trying to come to terms with Hailey’s impending departure: She’s moving to Australia with her marine biologist mother after this last weekend of the summer.

Next…• The beautiful, blue-haired, 18-year-old mermaid swam

away from home just before her arranged marriage, in search of real love. If she can’t prove to her father that love is real, she will be forced into marring an unappealing merman but he’s only giving her three days. Aqua enlists the help of Claire and Hailey .

• Aqua sets her sights on the Club’s lifeguard--Raymond

• If Claire and Hailey can help Aquamarine attract lifeguard ,and get him to say "I love you!" ,the mermaid will grant the girls a wish. In that case something magical happens, Hailey will be not moving. Trouble is, time is limited. Worse, there's an unscrupulous girl who also longs for the lifeguard.

Then…• She fortunately sprouts legs when on dry land d

uring the daylight hours, If she gets wet, however, or stays out past sunset, the tail returns.

• Raymond is the object of the mermaid's affection, a nice guy but not much of a prince. When Aqua asks him if he loves her,he responds, "No, but I think you're hot."

• The girls pool their knowledge and give Aquamarine a crash course,to teach her how to attract Raymond.

Afterwards…

• Of course, Aquamarine wins Raymond’s heart.

• But before the happy ending there happens a storm led by Aquamarine’s father, who wants to let his daughter back to him.

• The girls literally pray for a miracle to keep them together. But under such situation, they change their pray to own their friendship forever.

Happy ending…

• Aquamarine’s father believes there exists real love. When the storm is over, Raymond quickly swims to Aquamarine…
