DEC 2019 MOSH Meeting - collaborate/grow/share

1. Discussed PROs/CONs of December’s Sip n’ Shop event - highly successful night for most involved! *Positive feedback: Carolers were excellent, Good early planning by MOSH Core team, Marketing materials should be ready by Nov 1st, Aug Planning meeting was helpful to start planning process early, Positive coordination with Tree Lighting @ Gazebo *Things to consider for next year: Voting contest was confusing, Voting card should include Name, Email, Phone - filled out slips should be added to Chamber database and shared with Merchants for follow up, should have volunteers hand out flyers @ Gazebo to promote Sip n’ Shop
2. Brainstormed Sat, Jan 4th Sidewalk Sale - please Save the Date! Damon to follow up with Shelya on graphic, Emily will create FB Event this week
3. The 14th Annual Taste of Safety Harbor, Jan 20th @ the SH Spa. Merchants may collaborate together on a booth or two. MOSH going to discuss w/ Chamber if a Merchant-specific rate can be established
4. Art and Seafood on the Waterfront Feb 22 & 23 Would be great to have a MOSH Booth present
5. MOSH Goals for 2020- group discussed working on a budget for the year. Damon to begin draft in Dec. Review in Jan meeting and share with Chamber Board of Directors.
6. MOSH Newsletter - group decided Email and posting to Website is sufficient. Chamber can print limited copies to make available in Visitor Center, these newsletters should also contain info on future road closures from the City for planning purposes
7. EDL Role will be reviewed by City Commission in Jan - lets show up and show support Jonathan!! Meeting date will be shared with larger group
