Meg-A-Star is a superb quality 2015 55’ reverse layout semi- cruiser stern narrowboat. She has hardly been used and her condition reflects this. As with the rest of MegAStar narrowboats output, the fit out is solid, light and stylish. From the 8’ cruiser stern deck you enter the galley. The work tops in here are black granite, there is plenty of cupboard space, the utilities comprise of a 12v fridge with icebox, and a 3 burner gas hob, raised oven & grill with a microwave as well. A pullman dinette with side hatch opposite follows, which makes into an additional double berth, and on into the saloon. This is open plan with comfy armchairs. There is good shelf space with a large cupboard housing the 29” TV . A corridor on the starboard side leads to the bathroom. This feels luxurious and has a glass door shower cubicle, cupboards & shelves for linen, a heated towel rail, a modern Thetford cassette loo and a ceramic counter top basin over a vanity unit. The bedroom is in the forward cabin. The fixed double berth has large drawers under and lots of cupboards over. There is a large wardrobe at the foot of the bed. The windows in here and the bathroom are 15” portholes (the rest of the boat being bus style windows). On board central heating is fired by a Webasto diesel system heating 3 rads and the towel rail, and 230v is sourced via a Victron inverter. She is propelled by the popular Beta 43 which only has 89 hours on the clock, and she also has a bowthruster.
