Masthead- the name of kerrang means the sound of an electric guitar strum noise, also its made to look broken to make it look as if someone has made the noise too loud.

Eye level- the image is at eye level this is good because you can see where the colour of his green eyes which as you can see matched the green colour of the text.

Blooded effect makes the stereotype come across almost devilish.

The image is very close up almost intimidating as if he is coming at you, also the eye makeup and hair has been very carefully crafted for the camera shot to look effective.
