Accreditation allows media to cover kart racing at Dubai Kartdrome, Track Days and National Race Weekends on the main track.

It does not cover the Hankook 24H Dubai, which requires separate accreditation by event organizers, Creventic.

NEW COVID-19 PROTOCOLS FOR 2020-2021

Having resumed activities last June, Dubai Autodrome has led the way in developing new experiences for the public, designed for maximum enjoyment and safety. Racing and media activities will take place using these new health and safety procedures, and in accordance with Emirates Motorsport Organization (EMSO), Dubai Sports Council (DSC) and Dubai Health Authority (DHA) guidelines.

Visiting media must: Stay home if feeling ill in any way. Have forehead temperature checked to gain entrance into Dubai Autodrome. Wear a mask at all times. Maintain social distancing (at least 2m distance from other guests). Keep hands clean by washing and sanitizing. Comply with health and safety requests by security and officials.

While these guidelines are designed to reduce the risk of transmission, it is not possible to eliminate the risk altogether. Each attendee assumes the risk of infection and the consequences thereof and agrees that Dubai Autodrome staff and officials shall bear no liability in respect of any illness or fatality.

GETTING ON TRACK

SAFETY FIRST

For every track activity, safety is the main priority and always supersedes any media requirements. Please respect track officials who are tasked with maintaining the safety standards for the benefit of all participants.

In accordance with the FIA and EMSO, any media representative who is deemed a safety hazard, or who does not comply with instructions from track officials/marshals, may be banned from the venue!

2. Receive a Media Vest and wear at all times.3. Return Media Vest after use.

TRACK DAYS GENERAL RULES• Never enter the circuit and stay out of Media Red Zones

(see page 9)• Always stay behind safety barriers or fences. • Stay clear of the Pit Lane and be especially cautious in the

garage areas.• Do not enter Marshal Posts.• Many Marshal Fire Gates are off-limits (they are marked)

and the other gates must be closed after using. • Do not climb through nor lean out of gates or photo

windows. • Always follow instructions from track marshals or other

officials. If someone asks you to move from an area, please comply immediately; safety is the top priority.

• Media should contact DA Security (04 806 2279) to enter/exit the service road, so that officials can unlock/lock gates.

• It is ok to film vehicles on track but do not film participants or other guests without their permission.

• Service road must remain clear; do not block.

This application is valid for media workers covering and/or attending private and/or public events at Dubai Autodrome and/or the Dubai Kartdrome. Please read this before embarking on any video or stills photography at the venue. By signing on you are confirming that you have read and understand the conditions herewith.

In exchange for being able to cover and/or photograph any track activity, off-track activity, motor racing and/or other event at the Dubai Autodrome and/or Dubai Kartdrome, I agree:

• to release Dubai Autodrome LLC , its parent company and affiliates and promoters, sponsor organisations, land owners and lessees, organisers of the event, their respective servants, officials, representatives and agents (collectively, the “Associated Entities”) from all liability for my death, personal injury (including burns), psychological trauma, loss or damage (including property damage) (“harm”) howsoever arising from my participation in or attendance at the event, except to the extent prohibited by law;

• that Dubai Autodrome LLC and the Associated Entities do not make any warranty, implied or express, that the event services will be provided with due care and skill or that any materials provided in connection with the services will be fit for the purpose for which they are supplied;

• Dubai Autodrome LLC has the right to seize or block the use of video footage or digital images should the need arise; • I will be charged for any damage incurred by me at the venue;• to attend or participate in the event or activity at my own risk.

I acknowledge that the risks associated with attending or participating in track and/or off-track activity, including the risk that I may suffer harm as a result of:

• motor vehicles (or parts of them) colliding with other motor vehicles, persons or property;• acts of violence and other harmful acts (whether intentional or inadvertent) committed by persons attending or participating in the event and the failure or

unsuitability of facilities (including grand-stands, fences and guard rails) to ensure the safety of persons or at the event;• track activity and motor sport is dangerous and that accidents causing harm can and do happen and may happen to me.

I accept the conditions of, and acknowledge the risks arising from, attending or participating in the event and being provided with the event services by Dubai Autodrome LLC and the Associated Entities. I hereby sign below to confirm that I have read and understood this disclaimer and present it to the Dubai Autodrome:

1. Always wear the Media Vest provided.

2. Wear trainers or sports shoes.3. Never enter the circuit when

vehicles are on track.4. Stay clear of pit lane.5. Always stay behind safety

barriers or fences.6. If there is no barrier (karting)

stay four meters away from the side of the circuit.

7. Always know the location of the nearest marshal post.

8. Be familiar with flags so you know what is happening on the circuit around you.

9. Always follow instructions of marshals or officials.

10. Never leave equipment in an area where a kart or car can hit it.

Drone filming must be low-altitude flying nearby the circuit and not over vehicles. High altitudes, flying directly over vehicles and filming of nearby residential areas is strictly forbidden.
