Its Hymn Sing Time!
Wednesday, May 13, we will be in the
Sojourners classroom to share some
of our favorite songs. Come with a
song for us to sing (and a story about
it, if you want!).
Hope that you can join us for this
final Wednesday night activity for the

2,000 tickets have been distributed for our Ne-
hemiah Action Thursday, May 7th at 6:45 p.m.
at the Lied Center.
Here are a few last minute reminders:
1. Please offer prayers for the voiceless, for
wisdom, for courage, for sound communica-
tion, and for meaningful transformation.
2. Please be in your seat by 6:35pm.
3. If someone wants to attend the Assembly
and they do not have a ticket, tell them to come
at 6:35pm and they can find an empty seat. In
the worst case scenario, they will get a seat in
the Pavilion where they can watch what's going
on live in the main auditorium via a big screen
TV.
Thank you, The Justice Matters Team

Building Reconstruction Update:
For those who werent able to attend the quarterly business
meeting, you should know that the air conditioners that cool part
of our Roger Williams Room were stolen a couple of weeks ago.
Harris Heating & Cooling will be repairing and replacing them
the middle of next week. Plenty of floor fans have been set up
and the west end of the room is cooled by another unit.
May 3-8: The glass wall continues to take shape. Hallway floor
tiles from north to south should be complete by May 8. The
south sanctuary addition has
been prepared for a final
concrete pour.
May 11-15: Office suite
flooring installed
May 18-22: Kitchen
flooring installed
MOVERS & HELPERS NEEDED Saturday morning (5/9) at
8:00 a.m. Cabinets need to be moved back into hallways near
the south bathrooms and office work room. Many of the cabi-
nets are heavy and the seven crew members that were here on
Tuesday night need a break! All of the office desks and book-
shelves need to be moved to the Judson Rm and the office car-
peting needs to be pulled. Office floor installation will begin
Monday morning. As you can see, many, many hands are need-
ed and will make the work go much faster and easier. Some of
these jobs are appropriate for teenagers AND provisions from
Munchers will be provided for all!
Sanctuary of the Cinema May 17, 2015
The Color of Paradise (Or Literally, The Color of God)
1999, Drama, Rated PG, Farsi Language
Directed by Majid Majidi An Iranian film about a blind boy who sees better than his bitter, sighted father. A wonder of breathtaking cine-matography, and a Muslim meditation that Christians can and absolutely should take to heart.
Additional and upcoming
graduates. Please help us
congratulate them!
Jim Davidson, FBC Chancel
Choir director will graduate
this summer as a Doctor of the Musical Arts with
emphasis in Choral Conducting.
Caitlin Combest Trent will be awarded a Masters de-
gree in Educational Intervention from Ottawa Uni-
versity.
