Conversion What is it?The percentage of website visitors who take a desired action.

Simple FormulaTraffic x Conversion = Number of leads

For example100 visitors/month x 2% = 2 leads / month

Why invest in improving the conversion rate?Improve the conversion is the most effective way to increase the bottom line.

Example:A website conversion rate is 5% and it has 1000 visitors a month. To double you income you will either need to double the traffic or increase the conversion by 5%. Which one is easier ?

Pay attention to HeadlinesOn average, 8 out of 10 people will read headline copy, but only 2 out of 10 will read the rest. ( Copyblogger )
