recommendations

the
Technical
Committee
on
the
ControlofFuelQualityofApril2004shouldbefully
implementedtoensurethatthecustomersaresuppliedwith
products
of
the
required
quality.
In
particular,
the
monitoringandcontroloffuelsshouldbeharmonizedandtheMauritius
StandardBureaushouldbeprovidedwiththeresources
neededtoplayanactiveroleintheprocess.
AnMOUcanbesignedwithRunionIslandinordertobenefit
fromtheEUscooperationinimprovingfuelquality.
AStandingCommitteeshouldbesetupatthelevelofthe
MinistryofFinanceandEconomicDevelopmenttooverseethe
detailedfinancial
implications
