Founded in 2004 by Pascal Bauwens, Yuni started as a traditional Balinese furniture shop in Pointe aux Canonniers, Mauritius. Later its concept
was reviewed and refined by his sons, Bryce and Kevin, as well as his long business partner Rony, which resulted in a style that harmoniously blends
Balinese soul with a Mauritian touch.
Yuni is one of the only furniture providers on the island that offers a complete range of service from assisting in furniture design and technical
advice to production schedule, quality control and shipment logistics. Today the store has two retail showrooms in Mauritius, two manufacturing facilities in Indonesia as well as a sourcing office where a team of experts
takes care of all export documents, custom clearance and delivery/installation of order on site.
The company provides exclusive and flexible creative solutions to meet any client’s needs, on time and within budget. A responsive dedicated team is
assigned to each project to carefully manage every step of production until delivery. Yuni has no minimum order restrictions and promise an excellent
quality service whether working with large businesses or individuals.

Kasila Showroom Manager
With 30 years of experience, Kasila is the figurehead of our main showroom as both our showroom manager and senior sales representative. She is highly dedicated to her work and her extensive knowledge and clear understanding of the company and products allow her to be responsive and find the best solutions to accommodate any customer’s needs.
Medgée Home Décor consultant
Medgée has been in this field of business for over 20 years and counts a rich past international professional career. She has a great artistic eye which, combined with her knowledge of decoration trends, colour assortments and furniture layouts, allows her to give invaluable advice to any customer. In addition to meeting customers’ decoration needs, Medgée follows up with them throughout the project to address any concerns and ensure full satisfaction.
Alisha Sales Executive
Since 2015, Alisha is our sales executive in the Arsenal showroom. Commercially astute with a bright and enthusiastic personality, she always goes the extra mile to convey our brand, quality and service. She is very friendly and consultative and ensures that every customer enjoys a first-class shopping experience as soon as they step into the showroom.
Corinne Procurement consultant
With great organisational skills and expertise in procuring the best home equipment, Corinne answers to the most challenging requirements for soft furnishing, artworks and home linen for the appropriate turnkey solution. No need for you to shop around, Corinne organizes everything & does the running around for the very best possible deal!
Sanji Shop Manager
Sanji is the shop manager of Yuni’s showroom in Tamarin and ensures the highest level of customers satisfaction through an excellent service. Her expertise was gained over 15 combined years of international exposure within the hospitality sector, including Emirates Airlines, one of UK’s top retail industry where striving towards excellence was one of the key elements.
With 14 years of activity, Yuni has two retail showrooms in Mauritius and two manufacturing
facilities in Indonesia.

products are 100% artisanal and the quality of the end pruducts is
assessed not only by the level of refinement and finishes of our skilled craftmen but
also by the durability of the wood chosen.
The wood we use is 100% natural and certified by the Indonesian Legal wood.
It comes from farm forestry and its high quality ensures that the clients’ as well as
the designers’ expectations are met.

Through our manufacturing facilities in Indonesia (Cirebon and Jepara) as well as in Mauritius, we have the ability to provide tailor made solutions in terms of furniture made of wood, rattan (synthetic and natural), aluminium or stainless steel.
We define the specifications with the customer and then we offer a technical drawing. Once the technical drawing is approved, we launch the manufacturing. We take the time needed to make our customers’ furniture just like they want it.

1. Retail
Déco-packs
Proposed to the client
With our experience, we can help our customers and give them first advice on their decoration (free service) and go further by offering them a déco-pack (taking into consideration the colors on the floor, walls, curtains, etc) and providing them with an estimate.
As each person is unique in its needs, desires and taste, we offer personalised déco-packs, according to our customer’s floorplans or a sight visit.
The customer can pick and choose his own furniture either from our deco-pack presentations, from our showrooms or request our tailor made services.
Provided by the client The client can also approach us with an already designed deco-pack. We then work on a quote for the production and delivery of same.
2. Procurement & Turnkey SolutionsFor those who want to keep it hassle-free and move in a fully furnished dwelling, we’re happy to assist and offer turnkey solutions.
We are qualified to give advice on furniture and other decorations but should the customer require complete interior decoration, we also work directly with their appointed designer or in collaboration with very talented stylists whom we can recommend as part of our services.
With our turnkey solution, we take care of all the supply of furniture and equipment of your home. At Yuni, We are passionate about our job and we love a job well done. Following the delivery of any order, our after-sales service is at our customers’ disposal for maintenance, varnishing, repair, replacement amongst others.
We are able to ensure long-term satisfaction as the material used for the manufacturing of our furniture is of the highest quality and durable. In the instance that one of our customers comes across any kind of issue with a piece of furniture ordered from us, we promptly resolve the problem.

Agora Services Agora, The Ideas Workshop, is a meeting lounge nestled within the inspiring atmosphere of our showroom in Terre-Rouge intended to individuals, architects, interior designers, decorators and other professionals who share the same passion for furniture, decoration and lifestyle as we do.It is a design-focus gathering space for professional meeting that can accommodate up to 12 people at a time. It provides WIFI access as well as tea and coffee facilities.
