Marwin Group “The preferred partner”Marwin Mekaniske AS was founded in 1988 by the technical manager and production manager at a local paper mill. The company started as a supplier of parts and mechanical work to the pulp and paper industry.

Main focus has always been quality and delivery precision. Now the 100% Norwegian owned Marwin Group engage 50 employees and have large mechanical production facilities based in the Kragerø area. Today Marwin is a highly rated supplier to some of the worlds leading providers of technology solutions for the oil & gas industry.

Marwin has also expanded in to lifting appliances & services and we aim to support our Clients with all types of lifting equipment and service work normally associated with this as well as mechanical production & machining of parts. Supplier agreements are in place and Marwin already offers high demand items within such groups as wire rope, fibre rope, chain, hoists and shackles.

Our newest addition to the family is Marwin Vest and as an independent company in the Marwin Group we have established ourselves at Hinna Base, Stavanger. Marwin Vest offers the groups full range of services & goods and has secured exclusive agency for Slingmax products. A high end range of rigging solutions featuring their Twin-Path fibre sling; low weight, extreme braking load.

In co-operation with Hinna Base, Marwin Vest has the ability to offer Clients a wide range of rental products such as large shackles, buoyancy (surface & subsea) and winches, and can in fact also offer quay side facilities at Hinna Base. We perform spooling of wire rope and umbilical’s and are also offering our Clients an online Wire Rope Management System. This of course in addition to all certificates and documents available online.
