GENERAL ADVICE- Now you have chosen an Mountney traditional steering wheel, please consult your local stockist or our vehicle application chart to select the correct boss adaptor for your

particular vehicle.- Read the following instructions very carefully before commencing fitment

- Contact your local stockist or a trained and competent person if you have any queries on the fitment of this boss adaptor and steering wheel.

1. REMOVAL OF ORIGINAL STEERING WHEEL- Remove centre cap or horn push from existing wheel.- Align the steering wheel and road wheels to a straight ahead position.

- Unscrew the steering wheel securing nut, remove the steering wheel using the prescribed hub puller.

NOTE:- We recommend the vehicle manufacturer’s hub pull is used thereby avoiding any damage to the unit.

2. FITMENT OF YOUR NEW MOUNTNEY BOSS ADAPTOR KIT

- If supplied with the kit, locate and assemble the indicator pins (D) into boss adaptor (B), these are for signal

cancellation.- On some vehicles it may be necessary to re-use the original brass contact ring (C).

- Carefully locate and fit the hub adaptor (B) onto the steering column, ensuring the wheel is in a straight

ahead position. NOTE:- The serrations in the adaptor must slide smoothly onto the serrations on the steering column and

ensure indicating cancellation position is correct.- Replace washer (G) and locking wheel (F) and tighten to the vehicle manufacturer’s torque setting. DO NOT

force the adaptor kit onto the steering column as this may damage either or both adaptor and column

3. FITMENT OF YOUR NEW MOUNTNEY STEERING WHEEL

- Locate your new steering wheel (A) on the boss kit (B) using bolts (H), nuts (J) and washers (I) and fully

tighten.- Ensure both the steering wheel and road wheels are in a straight ahead position. If they are out of

alignment, remove steering wheel assembly, turn appropriately to the left or right before re-engaging.

- If supplied, connect any horn push wire to clip(s) on horn push (E).

- Locate and firmly assemble horn push (E) to boss kit (B).

FITTING INSTRUCTIONSNOTE:-�•� DO NOT remove the mirror from the suction pad•�� DO NOT apply any pressure to the mirror face when fitting•�� DO NOT moisten suction pad•��Make�sure�the�interior�of�the�windscreen is dry, clean and free from grease, polish, wax etc.

2. Set lever on the base so it is turned�fully�anti-clockwise Locate and apply suction pad at required position on windscreen

3. Firmly press suction pad onto windscreen,�turn�lever�clockwise�until�it�locks�into�position�ensuring�a good vacuum
