Company ProfileCommercial Marine Group (CMG) is based in Brisbane, Australia and works predominately on civil construction projects, with special capability in underwater activities in accordance with AS2299:1 2015.

The Company’s core capability of underwater construction services is complimented by their ability to deliver above water specialist activities including project management. CMG’s Team of Divers are highly experienced in accordance with AS2299:1 2015, but are also qualified in a range of trades such as vessel masters, boilermaker, rigging and dogging, electrical, mechanical and engineering.

CMG Directors, Ray Crampton and Tim Saville, have a solid history in the marine industry. Ray has extensive experience in construction diving and project managing marine construction projects. Tim has in excess of 40 years in the marine sector of the offshore oil and gas industry, contract and project management, ship management, chartering and operations.

With a successful track record in delivering outcomes for major commercial contractors, CMG consistently displays a high level of quality and attention to detail.

PILE REMEDIATIONCMG are experienced in all types of pile repair, maintenance and remediation. Combined, the CMG Team have serviced thousands of piles and are specialists in QuakeWrap, Pilejax and Denso systems of remediation. CMG are also experienced in using custom design solutions.

PILE REMOVALCMG applies their experience and specialist tools for pile cutting. Subsea and surface cutting applications include clamshell, oxy, hydraulic devices, chainsaws, broco and wire cutting tools and applications.

SUBSEA GROUTINGCMG specialise in cementitious and epoxy grout solutions. Whether pumping, placing or crack injection, CMG have experience with most solutions.

SUBSEA SEABED EXCAVATIONDredging and airlifting specialisation, CMG have 2 inch, 4 inch and 6 inch pumps and 150mm airlifting tools. Airlifting tools can be applied to numerous excavation scopes and can move up to 10cbm/hour.

PIPELINE INSTALLATIONCMG have undertaken a number of install projects including crane lifts and air bag options. CMG plant includes flange pullers, drills and rigging to support pipeline laying and connecting. The CMG subsea specialist team provides innovation and problem solving to ensure efficient solutions and safe operations.

TMR BRIDGE INSPECTIONSCMG have several Supervisors that are experienced and accredited TMR Bridge Inspectors. CMG have completed many inspections, reports and remediation projects for TMR and other Clients.

PROJECT MANAGEMENTCMG Project Managers are experienced in providing Clients with key management skills, systems and procedures covering simplistic to complex and multi-level projects. In offering a multi-level service range, Clients are able to select services beyond the core diving activity level and receive the delivery of a comprehensive suite of experienced and professional services.

CMG’s shipping capability is extensive and is supported by highly qualified Dive Teams, equipment and reporting capabilities.

CMG adopt the latest technology in digital video and photographic equipment and Clients have immediate online access, followed up by detailed and qualified reports.

All services are undertaken in compliance with local Authority regulations, AS2299:1 2015 Commercial Diving Standards, CMG integrated management systems (ISO accredited) and where applicable Classification Society Rules and Standards.

Commercial Marine Group specialise in custom design, manufacture and installation of grout bags and scour protection solutions and have delivered solutions on a number of major marine infrastructure projects.

The CMG Team work closely with your Engineers to understand the project specifications and provide cost effective, durable solutions.

Scour represents up to 80% of bridge failures around the world in water-based environments. Precast options require precast yards, molds, cranes, barges, tugs and logistics which have significant impact on project costs. Subsea scour mat designs can be very creative filling a void in almost any environment.

ENGINEERING SERVICESCMG in house engineering capability provides engineering solutions through feasibility, detailed design, construction delivery and handover phases of the project. CMG Engineering supports stakeholders and clients to achieve their goals and objectives.

CMG Engineering works collaboratively with its suppliers and clients to provide unique and bespoke engineering solutions

PROJECT MANAGEMENTCMG Project Managers have experience in managing small to complex projects and can be the single point of contact, coordinating subcontractors and specialist trades, plant, machinery and vessels.

VESSEL SALVAGECMG have the resources and experience to salvage most vessels. Recent projects have included vessels in Carbrook River, Brisbane River and Shorncliffe. Capabilities allow CMG to provide diving assistance only, or complete Project Management.

SEARCH & RECOVERY AND ROVSearch and recovery of vessels and items can involve a combination of sidescan sonar and diving, both of which CMG is equipped to facilitate. CMG also have an ROV designed for confined spaces.

MOORINGSCMG Divers provide mooring support to private and commercial Clients. Services include installation, replacement, maintenance and inspection.
