Learning aim C: Create digital photographs for a media product

Part 1 & 2: Develop concepts for digital photographs for a media product from a brief.

Shoot plan:

- Location (8 locations),- Types of shots,- Equipment needed,- Lighting,- Reasons for choice,- Alternatives considered,- Health and Safety considerations,- How files will be saved.

Aim of shoot; to produce a range of photographs to be used as part of a ‘Guide to the City’ for new students moving to the area. The images will be used in a pull

out full colour guide and on their website.

Possible locations:

- Arndale (Internal),- Piccadilly Gardens (External),- Manchester Library (Internal & External), - Town Hall (Internal & External), - Etihad Stadium (External),- Old Trafford (External),- China Town (External),- Manchester City Centre (External).

I think these locations will be of interest because there is a range. There is a mix of internal and external locations so if they prefer being either outside or inside they can pick. Locations such as Etihad Stadium and Old Trafford will appeal to football fans, the Arndale will appeal to shoppers also the library and town hall

will appeal to those who appreciate learning about Manchester.
