An electronic towel dispenser

is an ideal solution in paper delivery because

it “does not require tight grasping,

pinching, or twisting of the wrist” (4.27.4)

For dispensers intended for a side

reach approach, the towel dispenser shall be mounted between 9 and 54 inches above the floor and 15 and

48 inches for a forward reach. (4.2.6)

follow the ADA’s guidelines in that they

are operable with one hand and do not require more than

5 lbs of force to operate. (4.27.4)

Clear Floor Space

Toilet tissue dispensers shall be mounted with the center line of the tissue roll at least 19”

above the floor. The rolls should be located so their leading edge is just in front of the toilet seat, no more than 36” from the back wall. (4.16.6 Flg.2g(b))
