PARKS LIBRARY Makerspace & Media Room This fantastic new space will be filled with equipment for creating which includes the use of emerging technology as well as more traditional, ‘unplugged’ crafting. From crochet to coding, and painting to programming, anything you can create has a home in the Makerspace. While you will find some library events and programs here, we hope this will be a community space, with ideas for workshops to come from you. De-soldering station
Hot glue guns
Sewing machines
Badge maker
Paint brushes and craft equipment
Plus the room features a smart TV mounted on the wall, for presentations and instructional purposes.
And so much more.
The best bit? We are open to ideas on what you would like to see included in this space. We’ll consider all suggestions.
Media Room The Makerspace also incorporates a small recording room with acoustic treatment, a green screen, video equipment and software, sound recording equipment and software and an Apple Mac.
