The Fife-Davis Family Annual Jewish Book Fair and Gift Shop kick-off will beheld this Thursday, November 5 at 7:00 p.m. Our opening event will be Fabric ofSurvival: The Art of Ester Nisenthal Krinitz. This multi-media presentation includes anexhibition in the Sara D. November Gallery, a short film and an author discussion.Patrons of the Arts subscribers are invited to a reception and pre-sale event in the GiftShop at 6:00 p.m.

Our Jr. NFL Youth Flag Football League is well under way! There are only a few games left, withthe season ending on November 16. The rain date is Sunday, November 22, and games are playedon Sundays at Byrd Middle School. We hope to see you out on the fields supporting your favoriteteam.
The Run-A-Latke 5K and One-Mile Fun Run are approaching fast!Come out on Sunday, December 6 and run to benefit the Weinstein JCCand RTA. Looking for a way to get in shape for race day? Early Childhood
The Preschool Annual Basket Extravaganza has begun! It will be heldMonday, November 2 - Monday, November 16 in the Richard A. ArensteinLobby. This PGA-sponsored fundraiser includes baskets such as Date Night,Everything Jewish, Everything Baby, Books! Books! Books!, Princess Galore,Wine and Dine and more. Tickets can be purchased at the Check-In andCentral Services desks as well as in the Preschool office. Tickets are $3 eachor 7 for $20. Proceeds benefit the new landscaping on the Preschool's Outdoor Classrooms andteacher training.
Howl Dog Photography will take photos of all the children in Preschool alongwith full class photos Monday, November 2 - Thursday, November 5. Parentswill have the opportunity to view the photos and purchase them. This is sponsoredby the Preschool PGA. Sibling photos will be taken on Tuesday, November 3rd inthe morning.
In addition to picture day, our classes are getting especially excited for the Pow Wow performersfrom the Lumbee tribe (North Carolina) who will be here on Friday, November 6. They arecoming to teach the children traditional Native American Indian dances, regalia and customs. Wecan't wait! *Please note that both Preschool and Kids' Place will be closed on Friday, November 27 inobservance of Thanksgiving. Questions? Aquatics
As cooler weather moves in and we are thinking more about ways to stay active whileindoors, more people may be using our pools. Please be aware of the current poolschedule when planning your visit to the Weinstein JCC to make sure there will be alane or space available for you!
Our fall classes are going swimmingly! Keep an eye out for the Winter/SpringActivity Guide, out early December, so you can learn all about the manyaquatics classes we will be offering next season. Our winter classes start theweek of January 10 & our spring classes start the week of March 13.
Did you know that we offer private swim lessons all year round? The costis only $26 for Weinstein JCC Members and $36 for non-members (per 30minute lesson). Private lessons are a great way to help your child develop andenhance all their swimming skills, so sign up today!
And, if you see any of our Dolphin Club Swim Team swimmers around the Center, besure to wish them good luck at their meet at Poseidon Swimming this weekend!(Friday, November 6 - Sunday, November 8).

Our next EnRich for Life program is on Monday,November 23 at noon.
