Eight of our Science projects were selected for IRIS. The successful culmination of a number of International Projects too, warmed our hearts. Also being selected for CBSE-i made the year gone by a memorable one. The school has come a long way in strengthening the educational progress and infusing in the students the right values so that they can meet the challenges of tomorrow. Today we can proudly say that the school has so far successfully imparted the right values and ideas for which it was established and has carved a niche for itself in the field of education. Moral values are an important part of a student’s life. If the seeds of moral values are not planted in a child during his infancy, he or she can never reap success. Thus it is the responsibility of the elders to assist the youngster in growing up with eternal human virtues ingrained in them. Let the school and the parents join hands to impart and preach to the children morals such as integrity, honesty, compassion & forgiveness so that they can rationally distinguish between right and wrong. Moving ahead and stepping in a new challenging arena, we wish that our students perform remarkably well in areas related to academics, co-curricular and sports activities in the new session. We do not intend to rest on our laurels and are geared up for the year ahead with renewed vigour and boundless enthusiasm. There are greater glories to attain and newer horizons to touch. The sky is, indeed the limit. I wish to conclude by seeking the benevolence and mercy of the Almighty for the new session 2014-15. MAPS at National Level On the occasion of Republic Day, every year a grand parade is held in the capital from the Rajghat, along the Rajpath. Braving the winter chill, 180 of our students spent days preparing for the event and nothing was spared to see that every detail was taken care of from their practice for the dance to essential props and costume. Words cannot explain the feeling of, watching our children performing live in front of the Hon’ble Chief Guest-Japanese. Prime Minister- Shinzo Abe, our own dignitaries and the whole nation. The dance , as part of tehParade, was cast on National Television and was watched by millions of viewers in every corner of the country. A Proud Moment indeed!!

MAPS at State Level The proud Agarsainians marched smartly at Chattarsal Stadium on the occasion of Republic Day 2014 Parade was highly reviewed by the Honorable Chief Minister of Delhi, Mr. Arvind Kejriwal.

The School echoed with patriotic fervor and zeal as we celebrated Republic Day. The event commenced with the unfurling of the national flag by Sh. Brij Mohan Garg Ji (former President AWS) and was followed by a pageant of spectacular displays . The students from primary classes brought the stage alive with their passion and love for the Motherland with their performance on ‘Bharat Humko Jaan Se Pyara Hai’ which was a solemn reminder of the sacrifices of the martyrs who laid their lives for the country. Beautiful renditions like ‘Bharat ka rehna wala hu’ had the audience cheering for more. Students from senior classes spread the message of giving respect to women through a Nukked Natak. The teeny weeny toddlers took pride in glorifying the spirit of unity with their special performance. Each display brought out the diversity and richness of the culture of India and the whole show lent a festive air to the occasion. Sh. Pawan Gupta Ji (President AWS) enlightened everyone with his golden words about the country’s past and how the students of today hold the future of the country. Sh. Bimal Prakash Aggarwal Ji (Manager AWS) delivered the closing speech where he spoke of the feelings of nationality which will always remain with Indians no matter where they are.

Not easy to say Good bye ….. Very awful yet awesome ………………….!

This encapsules the solemn sentiments of biding farewell to

Class XII. The day began when all the students gathered in the school auditorium for the last morning assembly of their school life. It was a touching moment to see the outgoing students standing with folded hands in front of the backdrop ‘SHUBHASHISH’ . A short trip ‘Down the Memory Lane’, a

collection of some visual memories of their school life, pulled the strings of the heart while also bringing a smile to all faces.

And then came the students’ flowing emotions of gratitude for each and every member of the MAPS fraternity including the supporting staff, acknowledging their contribution. No denying, this was the most splendid tribute from the representatives of different sections to the institution and its staff. The students spoke of their own happy times in the classrooms, cafeteria and the playground.

It was then, time to shake them gently out of nostalgia to listen to all HODs who reinforced the guidelines to prepare for the exams. The silence during this segment conveyed that the students did not wish to miss

even a single word of expert advice by their great educators. Wishes galore and sagacious words of wisdom by the Principal and the Vice Principal were the real pearls to be treasured by the outgoing students. The auspicious Hawan Ceremony was the culminating event. The worthy members of Management, the school Principal, the Vice Principal and the staff chanted mantras and recited hymns before the holy fire to seek divine blessings. The Students left after a sumptuous lunch treasuring the most cherished memories of their school life.

On 28th February ,2014 primary successfully hosted the Graduation Ceremony for class-5 in the school. Delightfully, this was the day

to bless and bid goodbye to the students of class-5 who are ready to step into Middle School. The candor, talent and excitement which the students displayed was laudable. Joyously, the programme shot off with a dance performance followed by an inspirational poem, parody

and much more. The students were enthralled to watch the programme and cheered with gusto to thank their

teachers. Last, but not the least, all the teachers wished the students a bright future for their journey on the path of progress.
