installed and new curtains on back drop of stage were changed

Girls’ common room in old building was renovated. Flooring was done and it was
equipped with T.T. tables magazine stand & furniture repaired
Renovation and new construction of toilets for drivers / sweepers / vendors and visitors at
the outer side in the south of the main college building.
Construction of store room and ‘Scooty Stand’ at south skirt of main building
Emphasising Inclusiveness in Education
The System of free education for girls as per the policy of the Govt. of Bihar is followed
and practice
2081 new books of different subjects purchased in the central library worth Rs. 67993.00
and 09 Reference books of worth Rs. 2562.00
Scholarship facility is available for SC/ ST/OBC and Minority students, received from
Welfare Department, Government of Bihar every year
Separate Scholarship facility is available for topper student in the department of
Economics, Physics and Zoology which is given every year
NSS and NCC Cadets receives scholarship every year from their concerned unit
Promoting and guiding ‘Earn while Learn’ for students of Professional Courses / Regular

College is providing opportunity and training for event management, hospitality etc.

Initiating Faculty Development Programme
TOT (Training of Trainers) Programme was organised by Dept. of Home Science in
collaboration with Food and Nutrition Board Ministry of women and child welfare, Govt
of India from March 16 – 20, 2015
To Develop a Systematic Waste Management System
Provision of separate dust bin for wet and dry wastes is available in the campus
Provision of Vending Machine in students wash rooms for proper disposal of sanitary waste
Proper provision for disposal of waste in Campus Hostels is available
Reinforcement of Regular Feedback System from all the Stakeholders
PTM is arranged on regular basis in which parents submit their suggestions
Students’ feedback regarding performance of teachers is collected in a prescribed proforma
designed by the college
Meetings of Students’ Central Society is conducted time to time to discuss and reinforce
students related issues like discipline, sanitation, environment protection and different type
of activities
Retired teachers and alumnae are invited in various meetings as ‘special invitee’ and
suggestions are taken on various issues

Sick Room has been renovated and equipped with emergency drugs, wheel chair and first
aid facility
To Develop a Nursery on the Campus
A Nursery has been developed and is being maintained by students of the Department of
Botany and members of ‘Green Earth Brigade’
Implementation of Suggestion Box Department wise
Suggestion box is already available in the department and suggestions are practiced for the
betterment of students and departmental affairs
Promoting Tour Facilities to Students for Environmental, Social and Onsite Study
Educational-cum - Excursion Tour (Shimla, Manali, Delhi & Varanasi) was organized by
the Dept. of BBA, B.Com & Economics from 28.10.15 to 05.11.2015 and the students
also visited the Amity Global Business School, Noida and Kashi University
The Computer Department organized Five-days Educational Trip from Patna to Gangtok
and Darjeeling from 28th October to 3rd November 2015 in which more than 75 students
participated
Enhancing Teaching Learning Process by using ICT
One Day State level Seminar on the theme ‘Cloud Based ICT: An Emerging Trend in

iv. Re-evaluation and rechecking process is followed to give justice to students.
v. At the institution level we adopted exactly the same evaluation pattern for all internal
examinations as followed in the University Examinations. This trains students to improve

6.3.3 Examination and Evaluation
Continuous assessment of students through regular internal test - Class test, Terminal Exam,
Sent-up Test, Viva voce, Quiz at college level and annual examination at university level at
the end of the session as per the university norms. Evaluation process is transparent and
students’ grievances like scrutiny of any error of result are entertained.
6.3.4 Research and Development
Most of the faculty members are research supervisor.
Students are motivated and guided for research work under CPE Scheme.
Laboratories facilities are enriched by equipment regularly keeping research work in priority.
Many students have been awarded Ph.D. and some NET / JRF scholars are pursuing research
and helping the college by teaching.
6.3.5 Library, ICT and physical infrastructure / instrumentation
For acquiring computer skills, the computer department runs a CIC course at a nominal fee
of Rs. 50/-. Acquiring computer skills is not in the curriculum of all disciplines but as students
wish to use internet, it is a need of the day.
