Macroplan provides strategic property and retail advice to the public andprivate sectors based on economic research, forecasting and acomprehensive understanding of the planning process.

Established in 1985, Macroplan has grown to be one of the largest and mostrespected property advisors, with offices around the country in everypremier CBD location.

Macroplan conducts economic forecasting across all sectors and in everymajor city in Australia and New Zealand.

We access and compile information from a range of public and privatedatabases as well as our own library of primary market research data.

We conduct demographic research, determining demand for housing, rateof jobs growth by sector, and the stages of property market cycles. Weprepare retail impact assessments, economic and social impactassessments, undertake feasibility analysis for individual projects andmarket assessments for new developments.

Our deep understanding of financial metrics allows clients to move in andout of projects more quickly, reducing their holding risk. Put simply, we areable to reduce the risk and increase project returns. It’s one of the reasonswhy we’ve developed enduring relationships with our clients.

Our expert practitioners deliver a range of services, including; trade areaanalysis, demographic profiling, asset performance reviews, sales growthoutlooks, rental forecasting, performance benchmarking, market anddevelopment potential assessments, Town Centre assessments, expansionpotential assessments, store network strategies, floorspace demandmodelling, retail and centres strategies, due diligence assessments, expertwitness statements and leasing brochures.
