Whether your corporate event is a charity fundraiser, a corporate

brand builder or just a thank you to your staff the Mackay Golf is

the ideal venue for your company to reflect your organisations high

standard and commitment to excellence.

The club is only a short distance from the centre of the city and is

set amongst spectacular scenery. The golf course offers a challenge

to all levels of golf from the beginner to the professional.

Our pro-am each year is seen as one of the best in the State and

attracts players from all over the country.

Build Your Own Golf day

Shotgun starts

Players tee off at the same time for either 9 or 18 holes. This format is ideal for groups from 80 to 144

players.

Full course shot gun start 144 players or more P.O.A., 9 hole shot gun start up to 72 players P.O.A.

2 tee start

Player tee off in groups of 4 from both or either the 1st and the 10th tees, we allow 7 minutes between each

group.

Motorised Carts are available to book in conjunction with your day. 2 persons are allowed per cart.

Prizes and scoring can be organised through the pro shop.

Golf Clinics can be organised on your day or you may want to pay the Pro to play one of your shots on the

day.

Nearest to pins and novelties events out on the course are easily arranged.

Drinks cart

One or 2 drinks cart can be arranged for your event a $100.00

charge per cart to cover staff plus the cost of the drinks.

How to Secure your Event

Mackay Golf Club requires written confirmation along with a deposit in order to secure your booking. Please complete & sign the

attached confirmation form and return with payment.

Tentative bookings will be held for 7 days and may be cancelled without notice

Payment Schedule

A deposit of $500 is required to secure your booking

Returned completed Booking Confirmation

Final numbers are required 7 days prior to your event *

Full payment is required prior to your event

* please note final numbers indicates the minimum number you will be invoiced for.

Cancellation Policy

Written notification of cancellation up to 4 months prior to your event will incur no penalty, all deposited funds will be refunded

Written notification of cancellation up to 2 months prior to your event 50% of deposited funds will be refunded

Notice of cancellation within 30 days prior - All deposited funds are non-refundable

Within 72 hours prior - 100% of all conference charges will be invoiced

Licensing Regulations

BYO Alcohol is not permitted onto the premises

Minors & intoxicated patrons will be refused service

Serious fines exist for minors who obtain alcohol on a licenses premises for both the venue and the individual.

Fines are also in place for those people found to buy or supply minors with alcohol

Full photo ID is required for evidence of age prior to service of alcohol

Guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times whilst in the clubhouse
