Incredibly robust and resilient, the metal-wound Change™ heat exchanger gasket is designed to deliver the most dynamic seal ever.

The Change™ gasket is manufactured withproprietary equipment, using a 5-timesthicker metal spiral and a unique laserwelding process that penetratescompletely through the winding, so itrequires no inner or outer ring and is easyto handle and install as a double-jacketedgasket. The FLEXPRO™ Kammprofile gasket has three key features: the compressibility of a sheetgasket; the sealability of a spiral wound gasketand the ease of handling a solid metal gasket.

FLEXPRO™ Kammprofile gaskets are the idealproduct choice for standard pipeline and heatexchanger applications. They provide a high levelof sealing integrity but with the ability to seal atseating stresses normally associated with sheetmaterials. Kammprofiles are able to cope withhigh temperatures and pressures making themsuitable for heat exchanger service. The productcan also be used time and again when correctlyrefurbished.

We were contacted late one Friday with the problem,by Sunday the product had arrived on site in Nigeria. The issue was the misalignment of the matingcomponent which meant a standard gasket could notbe used, a bespoke Kammprofile was the perfect fit. CUSTOM SHAPES –We have developed specialist manufacturing techniques, enabling us to produce FLEXPRO™ Kammprofile gaskets in a wide range of non-circular shapes and sizes.

These are particularly useful for applicationsthat need the narrow sealing element and lowstress seating of a kammprofile, buttraditionally have had to use lower gradeproducts such as jacketed or metal reinforcedgaskets. Applications include oval, obroundand square manway and boiler door joints andlarge rectangle gaskets for fin-fan headerboxes.

The RTJ-Kamm gasket combines the high pressure seal of an RTJ withthe low stress sealing of a Kamm. The sealing faces are serrated andfaced which means this style is idealfor use with damaged flange groovesor in low load applications.

Flexitallic isolationsystem, an insulationgasket to provideelectrical and thermalinsulation using Sigma®and Thermiculite®technology.

We provide a complete product range to limitcorrosion in pipeline systems, using modified PTFEmaterial Sigma® and our unique high temperaturematerial Thermiculite® - both giving unrivalledperformance.

The insulating sets are designed to electrically isolateflanges and bolts in cathodically protected pipingsystems or whatever dissimilar metals are present.

The specially engineered materials used in theI-Flex isolation system are also able to extendtraditional operating temperature pressures and chemical compatibility, seen with currentinsulation technology.

OMV Petrom Romania site required our assistance toinstall a critical gasket during a major shutdown.
