Joint Safety Program Vision• Further the national program vision to improve the safety of the

local and rural surface transportation system

Joint Safety Program Mission• Provide local, rural and tribal road agencies with the safety

training, materials, knowledge and technical assistance needed to reduce fatalities and injuries on their roads
