About us:

• Energy Strategy Research Center, Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion (GIEC), CAS, Established in 2003

• An interface between technology, economy, society and environment

• Its aim is to enlarge the science and technically oriented disciplinary spectrum of the GIEC domain by contributing to research and teaching in energy policy and economics.

• Host the Guangdong CDM Center• Host the South China Climate Change Network

About us: The Energy Strategy Research Center are engaged in:

• Energy policy and development strategy plan.

• Evaluation of sustainable energy technologies. Some measures and policies for the preferential energy technologies and energy efficiency technologies are discussed to ensure their diffusion and industrialization.

• Research on energy security and climate change, e.g. low-carbon economy development and CDM capacity building: Policies and strategies of energy security and climate change; Analysis and research on climate change useful technical innovation diffusion model; Potential and cost analysis of GHG emission reduction technologies.
