I will take my front cover photot some time in December because this is when my topics in my magazine will be decided. I will take the photo at school at school because this is the most easily accesiblle place. I will remove the back ground from the photo so it is only the artist with no background. I will do this mid-day when the sun is at its brightest so my photo will be bright and clear and the photo’s lighting will be low key.

I will do the same on my DPS.

The same will aslo be done for my contents page, I will do all the photos at the same time so thye are all consistent.

The angle for my shot will be a medium close up, this is so my models facial expression can be emphasised and you are able to see the agression in his face. The reason I will do this shotis so that the brands that my model is wearing are clear, brands such as Armani jeans and stone island are key in rap culture. I will be taking my photo with the Nikon DSLR 5300. A tripod will not be required.

For my double page spread Will Eze will be wearing the same outfit, the shot will be a medium close up again but this time he will be doing hand

For my contents page my photo will be taken from an angle below looking up, this will connotes power and that he is above everyone else.

The light will be on in the area I am taking the image this will ensure its clear. I will be using Will Eze as my model and he will be wearing a black armani jeans fleece and will be doing an aggressive facial expression to give an insight into the rap genre. This is stereotypically what a male hip hop artist would wear. I have selected Will Eze because his afro symbioses the stereotypical reader and he is black. My pictures for my other pages I will require similar pictures. Will be wearing the same outfits.

It will be a full body shot so you are able to see all the clothing he is wearing head to toe. In this picture he will be wearing a snapback, another item of clothing associated with the rap genre.

Permission NeededContact needed to be made

I will need to require permission from Will Eze himself and her parents, as a parent or guardian must give consent on their behalf due to Will being under the age of 18 . A model release is a confirmation of consent given to a photographer by the person in the photograph that the image may be used for various purposes. Members of the public do not need a permit to shoot in public places however due to I am shooting within school grounds I have to ask permission from the Head of Media at St. Andrew’s school.

Potential Hazards/Risks There arent many potential hazards and risks when taking my image but I must make sure Will is in a safe enviroment. When taking the photo I must make sure my equipment is in the correct positions so nothing falls over and the surorunding area is safe.

Locations specificWhy?

I have selected my school because it does not mean I have to pay for transport anywhere to take the photo, I also believe that it’s the easiest place to capture my image and I do not have to pay for a photoshoot.
