To help continue our success and growth, we are seeking a Consultant Sales Engineer/Engineered
Product Specialist- Spill Control Products (SPCC) to become a dedicated member of our team.
Location: Home Office (New Hampshire or Massachusetts)
Qualifications:
• Civil Engineering degree preferred or substantial industry experience that would provide technical
solution development capabilities.
• Ability to draw out and understand the customer’s needs and help them find solutions.
• 3-5 years’ sales experience; ability to understand and derive satisfaction from both consultative
marketing and transactional selling styles.
• Strong technical aptitude with knowledge of common construction and jobsite practices.
• Ability to communication technical information, concepts and applications very effectively.
• Must be an exceptional relationship builder.
• Knowledge of SPCC compliance requirements.
• Ability to read engineer drawings and SPCC specifications.
• Previous experience managing relationships with electrical and civil engineers, substation groups,
and general contractors as required.
• Demonstrated success in time management and attention to detail.
• Extensive overnight travel required via auto/or air.
Opportunity:
• Offering a base salary, and opportunity to make $80K+ in year 1. Top performers are able to earn
$130K+.

Responsibilities:
• Technical and client facing opportunity- you will be meeting with Substation civil and environmental
engineers, EPC (engineering, procurement, construction) firms, electrical and civil contractors and
engineers as well as utility substation groups.
• Meet with engineers, via calls and lunch and learns, to generate specification and sales.
• Meet with contractors and decision makers to generate sales growth.
• Locate and work opportunities within region to generate sales.
• Present and recommend solutions to prospective customers based on detailed customer
requirements to highlight areas of opportunity for the client to be in compliance with EPA SPCC
Requirements.
• Act as an integral member of the sales team contributing to the formulation of strategies and
technical approaches, including planning for pre-sales campaigns and strategize with Sales and
Marketing Manager on the next best activities to deal further down the sales funnel.
• Conduct discovery sessions and site visits to completely understand prospect’s SPCC Plans and
technical requirements. Expertly handle customer questions on functional/technical capabilities
during meetings/presentations, and if needed, adapt presentation/demo to customer’s line of
questioning.
• Manage the technical relationship with the customer and be Albarrie’s secondary “face” to the
customer throughout the process.
• Technically competent in the promotion and sale of entire SPCC product offering.
• Provide on-going technical support to well-qualified prospects conducting evaluations. This may
include education, trouble-shooting, site visits and best practices consulting.
• Identify upcoming projects to bid for SPCC product specification.
• Must be strong at building relationships and networking.
• Extremely consultative and detail oriented- performing a needs and technical analysis based on
scope of projects.
• Master and maintain detailed knowledge of Albarrie’s product line.
• Work with the management team to provide feedback on current and future product requirements
and communicate competitive intelligence from the field.
• Selling of SPCC solutions to be specified in both small and large commercial projects- a $500,000
quota will be expected the first year to be increased every year thereafter.
• Submit requested reports, forecasting and territory summaries in a timely manner.
