The Lobby Chair consists of three separate uphol-stered elements that are connected with metal side-pieces. The alumini-um frame is the main element that gives the Lobby Chair its shape.

The Lobby Chair was designed by Charles and Ray Eames in 1960 for the lobby of the Time-Life Building in New York. It is an executive chair for offices, conference rooms and waiting areas. Its soft leather upholstery gives it the comfortable feel of a club armchair.
Charles & Ray Eames feature among the most important figures of twentieth century design. Their work is multi-faceted: they devel-oped furniture, produced films and photographs, organised exhibitions and designed and built their own house as a pioneering endeavour.
