I said, “Who’s pumped up to be in Konnect today?” (Kids cheer and answer.) That’s more like it! Now let’s watch a quick rules video with our friends from Konnect HQ.

Let’s pray for our offering. Bow your heads with me. (Kids and leaders bow heads.) God, thank You for blessing the gifts we’ve given to You today! We love You! In Jesus’ name, amen! OK! OK, friends! 1-2-3! Eyes on me! (Kids look at emcee.) It’s great to see all of your eyeballs! My name’s ______, and I’m your emcee! Let’s vote on something. If you do not like talking on the phone, raise your hand. (Some kids raise their hands.) Good to know. Now, moving on—listen up as our Konnect HQ friends talk about our Konnect rules!

I love to honor God with my offering! Now, let me read you today’s point: Everyone sins, but God’s grace wins. Say it with me loud and proud! (Together with kids) Everyone sins, but God’s grace wins. Great! Now, I asked you earlier who doesn’t like to talk on the phone—well, there’s someone on Konnect HQ who isn’t loving it so much today, either! Let’s watch and see who it is!

It was tough to hit that target—but your small group leaders gave you grace, and you got a pretty sweet bracelet, anyway! God’s grace is like that—we don’t deserve it, but we get to be forever friends with Him when we follow Jesus. Let’s say our point about that together. Try it again! (Kids shout out) Be cool! Yeah, that’s it! Now let’s watch the Konnect HQ crew break down the Konnect rules for us!

Thank You, God, for the chance to give back to You! We sure do have some generous kids in here! Moving on—today’s point is: My heart doesn’t measure up, but God’s grace can clean it up. What exactly does that have to do with being cool or with chilling out, relaxing, and going with the flow? Well, you’ve just got to watch this!

Whoa. Those drawings reminded me that even when we try our best, we still can come up short. I’m so thankful God gives us grace when we can’t measure up to His glory! All this measuring talk reminds me of a joke! Tell me—why can’t a nose be 12 inches long? (Kids shout out their ideas.) Because then it would be a foot! Get it? Because there are 12 inches in a foot! Ha! OK, that was silly, but worshiping God isn’t! Watch this worship video and get ready to dance and sing for God!


Now, how many Konnect rules were there? Show me with your fingers! (Kids hold up 3 fingers.) That’s right, three. When you follow them, you can have a great time! And, even better, you’ll help everybody around you have a great time, too. Hmmm. Who’s out there following the rules? I guess being cool isn’t what it’s all about. We’ve got to check our hearts and see if it’s leading us God’s way before we follow it. The Bible verse is about that. Say it with me! Can you believe it? Jesus knows everything about you. Yeah—everything. The good, the bad, and the ugly. But He still loves you! That’s what the ABCs are all about! If you’re ready to follow Jesus, let your small group leader know, and talk to your family about it. Once you choose to follow Jesus, you can count on Him to teach His law of love to your heart. God is good to us. I love to give back to Him! When we choose to follow Jesus, He helps us become more like Him. The ABCs remind me how good God is! He gave us the best gift, ever: His Son, Jesus! Let your small group leader know if you’re ready to follow Him. Talk to your family about it!
