The Official Rolling Stones StoryNo band has played for more people, endured more conflict or achieved more highs than the RollingStones. Their music has defined generation after generation, their backstage antics are legendary andtheir conflicts are front-page news. Once considered rivals to the Beatles, they have outlasted them byover 40 years. They have no rivals and need no introduction.

This is the first definitive film following the band’s career from their early club days to their currentendeavours – told through the words of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Charlie Watts, Ron Wood, BillWyman and Mick Taylor against the most extensive archive footage ever compiled. The filmmakers havebeen granted unprecedented access to the band and their archives, including thousands of hours ofnever-before-seen film, tens of thousands of photographs, and most importantly the entire Stonesrecording catalogue all of which will be woven together into a cinematic tapestry like no other.

Like a history book come to life, the film embarks upon a journey to experience the adventures, trialsand tribulations of the Rolling Stones in a cinematic way and like the band themselves, it will be soulful, raw, audacious, visceral, theatrical and provocative.

Brett Morgen – Director and Multi-Award Winner for The Kid Stays In The Picture.

Truth And Lies A visual career profile of one of the world’s mostfamous rock groups. Thisdocumentary features rarefootage and interviews looking at the controversiessurrounding the band from1960s to present dayincluding the Redland Bust,Mick Jagger & Bianca’swedding, the death of BrianJones, drugs, The Beatlesand Christianity.

Some Girls: Live In Texas ‘78The Rolling Stones 1978 tour of the USA in supportof that year’s Some Girls album is considered byfans to be one of their very best. The tour took a“back to basics” approach, with the band and theirmusic very much at the forefront. Filmed at the WillRogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas, on18 July 1978, this concert is typical of the tourwith the Rolling Stones delivering a raw, energeticperformance in front of a passionate andenthusiastic crowd who are clearly loving theshow. Amongst the hits are Jumpin’ Jack Flash,Brown Sugar, Miss You and Beast Of Burden.Originally shot on 16mm film, the footage hasbeen carefully restored and the sound remixed andremastered. This is undeniably the Rolling Stonesat the peak of their form.

Ladies & Gentlemen1972This concert film was taken from two RollingStones concerts during their 1972 North AmericanExile On Main Street tour. Filmed over two nights in Texas the Stones do what they do best: Guitar fuelled R&B with pop flair and youthfulrebelliousness thrown in for good measure. Therenditions of Gimme Shelter, Brown Sugar, Jumpin’Jack Flash and Can’t Always Get What You Wantsurpass anything recorded to date whilst thecontributions from Bobby Keyes, Jim Price andNicky Hopkins make it clear the Stones werebrilliant collaborators.
