Deeper Challenge for October
In October we challenge you to mem-
orize a shorter psalm of your
choice so that you can be reminded
of God’s presence no matter your
circumstances. Some suggestions
are Psalm 46, 100, 121 or 150.
October’s Reading Challenge: Begin reading the book of Genesis (1 - 2 chapters
per day). Tom has preached on the “Hall of Faith” in
Hebrews 11. Read their stories first-hand.

tian Church in Florida for over 26 years and is the
author of 10+ books (see the foyer). Following the
service, stay for Chowder, fried chicken and more!
Activities will begin immediately after we eat, so
stay and participate. Spectators are welcome for all
events. It’s not too late participate in any of the
events (except the cornhole tourney). Activities in-
clude: Supervised game area outside for preschool-
ers, Hedge Apple Slingshot, Human Foosball, Hu-

Homecoming Offering & P.I.E. Auction
As we celebrate the past and look toward the future,
we desire for Little Prairie to thrive, grow and fulfill
her mission. To enable us to do more ministry, we
desire to pay down our building debt early so that
we can have more resources for ministry. TODAY
our entire offering will go toward our building
fund debt. We will also be having a Pie/Dessert
auction during our noon meal to benefit the build-
ing fund. Thank you to everyone who signed up to
provide desserts.
SS Class Responsibilities for Homecoming
We ask the Sunday School classes to help with HC in
the following ways:
Prepare drinks - Loyal Workers Class
Provide ice and serve drinks - Seekers Class
Serve Chowder - Come As You Are Class
Kitchen clean up - Agape Class
Take down tables & chairs - Harvesters/Y. Adults
(and every able-bodied person who can help.)
We have to tear down quickly due to the Free Throw
Contest & other events. Thank you!

A new session of GriefShare will begin THIS Thurs-
day, October 15th at 6:30 pm. If you know of some-
one who would benefit from this ministry, please
encourage them to come to help find support, tools
& encouragement as they go through the hard jour-
ney from grief to joy. The workbooks are $15, but
scholarships are available.

Worship…
We are here to celebrate what God has done to save us.
We do this through song, scripture, prayer & preaching.
We invite you to express your worship in your own way,
whether sitting or standing, raising hands or clapping.
Most importantly, God asks that we worship Him from our
hearts, so we encourage you to focus on the words and
make them your personal expression to God.
Communion…
We celebrate communion every Sunday. This is a time for
all Believers to remember God’s gift of grace through His
Son, Jesus. Please eat the bread and drink the cup as
they are passed.
Offering…
Please do NOT feel obligated to participate in the offer-
ing. You are our guest and we are glad that you are here!
Children…
If you have young children, we encourage you to take ad-
vantage of our excellent Children’s Ministry programs
located in the west side education wing. The Nursery for
birth to 24 months is provided during all services. During
the 10:30 a.m. Worship Service, Wee Worship is for those
age 2 through Kindergarten, Kids’ Worship for grades 1st
-4th and Route 56 for grades 5th/6th (during the ser-
mon.) Route 56 will not meet TODAY (10/11).
