We are excited to celebrate what God has done at

Little Prairie over the last 187 years. Our speaker

today is Mark Atteberry. Mark grew up in West Sa-

lem and graduated from ECHS and St. Louis Chris-

tian College. He has ministered at Poinciana Chris-

tian Church in Florida for over 26 years and is the

author of 10+ books (see the foyer). Following the

service, stay for Chowder, fried chicken and more!

Activities will begin immediately after we eat, so

stay and participate. Spectators are welcome for all

events. It’s not too late participate in any of the

events (except the cornhole tourney). Activities in-

clude: Supervised game area outside for preschool-

If you have young children, we encourage you to take ad-

vantage of our excellent Children’s Ministry programs

located in the west side education wing. The Nursery for

birth to 24 months is provided during all services. During

the 10:30 a.m. Worship Service, Wee Worship is for those

age 2 through Kindergarten, Kids’ Worship for grades 1st

-4th and Route 56 for grades 5th/6th (during the ser-

mon.) Route 56 will not meet TODAY (10/11).

Annual Reports & Annual Meeting

Our annual congregational meeting is Nov. 1st fol-

lowing our service. Active members age 14 & up

will be voting on our leadership and budget. Minis-

try Team Leaders, your annual report is due TO-

DAY Sunday, Oct. 11th either electronically or as

a hard copy in the office. There will be a Leader-

ship Potluck for all “old” and “new” leaders on Sun-

day, November 15th.

One Christmas Choir for All Ages

We invite all singers from first graders through

adults to be a part of a big multi-generational choir

for a Christmas special on Sunday, December 20th.

Come sing a great medley of traditional Christmas

carols arranged in the cool style of the Trans Siberi-

an Orchestra. Our first practice is next Sunday,

October 18th, at 7 pm to introduce everyone to

the song. Other practices will be Nov. 8th, Dec. 6th,

and final practice on Saturday, Dec. 19th at 9:30 am.

Please try to attend 3 practices (minimum of 2) and

listen to the CD to learn the song ($1). Contact Tri-

cia for more information.

Sunday A.M. Children's Ministry Volunteers

Fall is here, and that means it is time to begin minis-

try planning for next year! If you are interested in

volunteering with our various Sunday morning pro-

grams for children, please pick up a Sunday Morning

Children's Ministry Volunteer Sign-up Sheet at the

foyer table. Please read front and back carefully,

check your area(s) of interest, sign, and return paper

to the box on the foyer table. If you have further

questions about any of the positions, please contact

Keep the Dream Alive Program

The Hope Center is offering a special program on

Saturday, Oct. 24th at 6 pm to inspire those going

thru tough times and encourage others to keep

fighting the good fight. The program will feature

presentations by 5 local people who have faced vari-

ous issues. See the flyer on the board for details.
