Objectives : By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to: a) Name at least 6 words of food correctly b) Talk about their friends like or dislike. Time : 7.45-8.45 a.m. Teaching Aids : Flashcards, relia objects Cross Curricular Element/Educational Emphasis : Multiple Intelligence Activities : Step 1 1. Teacher brings a basket of different types of food and asks pupils to guess what is in the basket. 2. Teacher gives some clues of what are the things in the basket. 3. Pupils try to guess. Step 2 1. Teacher shows the contents of the basket. 2. Pupils are asked randomly to take out the food and name it. 3. The pupils choose and paste the flash card provided on the writing board. 4. Teacher asks the class whether they like or dislike the food. 5. Pupils are asked to form a group of 5. 6. Each pupil asks their group members about the food they like and dislike.
