The KNEKT INTERSEKT distribution component

is designed to address more complex and demanding

multi-room audio applications and offers complete

freedom of choice of audio source in any part of the

home. Each remote room has direct control over all the

main room system sources via a Linn Room Control

Unit (RCU) or third party control device and individual

rooms can be allocated specific main system sources.

The modular and expandable nature of the INTERSEKTallows the user to begin with an R4S5 system thatdistributes 5 audio sources to 4 rooms or an R8S8system that distributes 8 audio sources to up to 8rooms and expand it when required. For largerinstallations, the R4S5 and R8S8 are replaced by acombination of INTERSEKT SES8 source expansionboxes and RER16 room expansion boxes to permitdistribution of 16 sources to up to 128 zones and sub-zones, each with the same pitch accurate sound qualitythat Linn customers demand.

RS232 connectivity enables control of the KNEKTsystem via third party control touchscreen devices andalso configuration and set up of KNEKT via LinnstallPC utility, providing the benefit of customising eachinstallation to the precise requirements of the user.

The KNEKT INTERSEKT forms the heart of a highperformance multi-room audio system for homes,superyachts, hotels and commercial applications.
