Raucholz Rd Hemlock, MI 48626 June 18, 2016 Dear Hiring Manager: While pursing my Associates of Applied Science degree in Electrical Systems Technology, I studied the 2011 National Electric code and was tested on it often, both in the classroom and in the lab. One of the lab projects was to wire a mock home. The school also used the second year students to repair or rework machines or standard electrical needs through the campus. While in school I found a strong interest in programmable logistic controls and alternative energy. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to be part of many projects from the planning and design stage, to the building and implementation stage. One such project was as part of the Electronics Club when I assisted my team in building a 10,000 watt solar and wind generator. With storage capacity was 880 amps (DC); the machine was used to power a programmable logistics controller. The program, I helped write operated Christmas lights and was displayed at various campus events; as well as a static display for a in depth report on Alternative energy I, along with a team of 4 others, presented for English 114. Another project (as part of my applications project class) was to completely design, and install a complex control system to provide wind for an indoor wind turbine. A lab partner and I were able to complete this project, and demonstrate the wind speed varying from full stop to an estimated 35 mph wind, to our peers. I wrote a user’s guide for this project which is available upon request. These experiences, along with my depth of life and military experience make me the ideal candidate for this position. Thank you in advance for your time and consideration. I would like to schedule a personal interview. I can be reached by phone at (989) 971-9018 or by email at [email protected] . Thank you for your consideration, and I look forward to hearing from you very soon. Sincerely,
