The Activator Dynamic Seating System is anatomically designed, allowing the child to move into flexion or extension, while maintaining proper pelvic position. The Activator Dynamic Seating System resistance is tension adjustable and may be locked out when not needed. Dynamic seating provides freedom of movement for a wide variety of children with tonal issues and an environment to benefit from therapeutic movement.

WC-19 Bus Transit Important Information

Dynamic Seating Option

The Bus Transit Option includes a wheelchair-anchorable lap belt from Sure-Lok.This belt has been dynamically tested in accordance with the ANSI/RESNA WC/Vol. 1-Section 19 standard.

For all vehicle sizes, four (2 front, 2 rear) SAE J2249-compliant tie-down straps assemblies are recommended.

» The DYNO configuration was tested in accordance with ANSI/RESNA WC/Vol.1-Section with the following options installed:RESPOND™ Contoured-Configurable Seat Back, RESPOND Planar Cushion, ACTIVATOR Dynamic Upper Body, RESPONDPlanar Head Support, WC-19 Bus Transit. For the crash test, foursecurement points (2 front, 2 rear) were used.

» A Hybrid III 10-Year-Old ATD was used for the test.

» A wheelchair-anchored lap belt with a pin-bushing assembly towhich a vehicle-anchored shoulder belt could be attached was used for the test.

» The wheel chair complied with the frontal-impact performancerequirements of section 5.3 of the ANSI/RESNA WC/Vol.1-Section19 standard.
