UNDERSTANDING, TARGETING AND QUALITY RESPONSE The work of the Sakma Group lighting company can be classified according to these three premises. Since 1988 it has been working on providing the best solutions to the needs of the market using the revolutionary tech-nology of LED. The advantages and peculiarities of this technology offer the opportunity to create unique, revolutionary solutions that bear the clear distinc-tion of quality. These are the result of competent and intuitive teamwork, at the forefront of the market, able to capture the essence of a project and bring out its best from it. How? Following three key points:

UNDERSTANDING what’s needed, taking stock of the requirements of each particular case and applying a sense of precision at the moment of developing different lighting systems. LED lighting, the benchmark when it comes to avant-garde innovation, is the central axis around which we create and experiment. The need to create our own line of products that no other brand specialising in LED has managed to develop emerged out of the experience and professionalism of our team. What are its unique features? Progression and evolution, going one step forward with the leading technology, avoiding the danger of falling victim to setbacks.

TARGETED at potential clients. Informing them of the varying qualities in the market is fundamental to facilitating an excellent working relationship between both parties. Confidence and loyalty are invaluable qualities that we attempt to nurture on a daily basis. Hence, providing information about the origin of the goods, their features, benefits as well as any less favour-able aspects is the best way to decide which electrical component best fits the needs of each case. Sakma Group helps to assess and lay out the proposal that best suits each occasion.

RESPONDING to the demands required with practical, high-quality solutions that are both aesthetically attract-ive and functional at the same time as affordable and sustainable. This is a basic goal of the Sakma Group team, active and creative professionals with talent who meet their challenges, converting dreams and desires into matter that shines and intrigues with its own light.

LED

LIGHTING CULTURE

Light-emitting diodes, better known as LEDs, have revolutionised the world of lighting in recent years. It great advantages compared to other lighting systems have contributed to its notable presence and to making its many uses an entire field of study to be developed. It has a useful life in stable conditions 5 times that of fluorescent and neon lights and up to 50 times that of incandescent lights.

With stable and unchanging levels of luminosity, LEDs guarantee optimal visual comfort, without either dazzle or dark areas and with a faithful perception of colour. Its reduced size coupled with its great power makes it a valued item for designers and industrialists alike, who see its inexhaustible possibilities.

LED lighting, in turn, is easily adjustable, favouring the creation of dynamic, personalised illumination in all colours. In addition to this, as it doesn’t give off infrared or ultraviolet, no heat is generated, thereby broadening and increasing its range of applications.

But the great unique feature of LEDs compared to other sources of illumination, stems from its energy efficiency that optimises resources while providing impressive lighting performance. Its minimal loss of light emission favours the reduction of consumption while maintaining the equivalent results and protecting the environment with an intelligent and sustainable use of energy.

WHAT MAKES SAKMA DISTINCT

Sakma is synonymous with quality, competitivity, initia-tive and responsibility. A brand behind which works a large technical and creative team lending its talents, knowledge and leading technology in the develop-ment of the most cutting-edge and revolutionary of lighting systems. Whether within the signage sector or creating different atmospheres and custom-made solutions for the public or private sphere, the Sakma Group distinguishes itself from its competitors by taking initiative and committing to excellence in the planning of a project, the creation of a product and its subsequent installation and maintenance. A seal of quality and trust that makes the Sakma Group an example of true professionalism.

LIGHT STICK

Sakma goes one step beyond when it comes to investi-gating the functionality of LED technology, crowning the lighting efficiency of Barraled with an excellent and attractive finish.

This is the origin of Light Stick, a delicate and, at the same time, extremely resistant and versatile lighting tool thanks to its numerous utilities. Ideal for substituting fluorescent bars or neons with a clean low consumption energy that does not give off heat and therefore does not deteriorate the pieces or spaces in which it is installed. It is the range of comfort and balance.

Its careful design, with an aluminium border and poly-carbonate front blends fixes with the most refined and understated decor, to which the Light Stick adds powerful luminous efficacy.

This linear LED lighting product does not emit ultraviolet or infrared light thereby increasing its field of application to exhibition stands, display windows or mirrors whose image and qualities (the beauty of the piece, materials, colour, details…) are enhanced thanks to a natural finish free from shadows.

The effect of Light Stick is equally attractive for outdoor spaces as it is sealed with a silicone optic, guaranteeing the product perfect protection in the event of adverse weather or atmospheric conditions.

The extreme longevity of LED, over 50.000 hours (at 25°C), along with its low consumption, make it an ideal system for places requiring 24 hour lighting. This same durability reduces maintenance costs and provides energy savings while favouring sustainability.

Light Stick is available with high (HI) and regular (ST) luminosity values, according to client needs. The family is made complete with an extremely high luminosity module (XTR), based on the same design, to achieve an even greater luminous impact and variable angles of vision according to the optics chosen.

SKY LEDCEILING ECO-LIGHTING

The incorporation of LED engineering into civil and administrative life has been gradual over recent years and it is ever more present in our streets, buildings and homes. Businesses also increasingly consider the illumi-nation of their offices, taking into account environmental factors as well as savings in consumption and mainte-nance. Sakma aims to bring its knowledge to this area by reinventing the classical office sign so that the intensity of light is uniformly distributed. The result is Sky Led, a plaphon designed with an special Backlight system inside.
