What have I learnt? To achieve the photograph shown above, I decided to use Photoshop so I can edit

two photographs and merge them together. I took multiple photographs of two mugs balancing on each other and to I’ve decided to place both mugs on a chair so I can use the Lasso tool to cut off the background and have both mugs look like they’re floating later on. Then after I took the photograph, I took a photograph of an empty corridor so I can use it to create the illusion of the mugs floating in the air. Before cutting the unnecessary background, I needed to upload both photographs and have them resize and rasterised both of them so I can edit them freely. Then after that, I needed to copy the photo of the mugs so I can place it lower down the other photograph and make it seem like it’s the reflections. I needed to change the opacity of the photograph as well so it will look more realistic. Furthermore, I’ve decided to use the distort tool so I can make the bottom photograph look bigger and make the reflection style of it look realistic. The skills that I’ve gained during this task are the basic skills, I found out how easily I can use the lasso tools and use certain tools that I never encountered before. Not only that I also found out how to change the opacity of the photograph which created a certain effect in the final photo.
