Leadership

On our last beautiful Friday afternoon, we heard from

our On-Site Josiah. Josiah talked to us about how when

he was growing up, he was constantly around the “camp

life”. He grew up learning about camp as his parents and

family are all a huge part of camp. Josiah was a camper

in 2006, so he remembers going back home after camp.

It can be hard to describe camp to people who haven’t

experienced it. Josiah told us that the best way to

describe camp is to show them. We can show the world

what CMW is all about by saying kind words, giving warm

fuzzies, or doing something nice for a stranger. Josiah

also talked to us about the four words you see on the

CMW logo and on your t-shirts. Faith, hope, love, and ME

are all reminders of this perfect, intangible, life-

changing place. Josiah challenged us to go out into the

world, be our true selves, and love unconditionally.
