Summary
• LCLS-II will add capacity and capability to the LCLS scientific program, and will provide space for expansion.
• To minimize cost and risk, electron systems rely heavily on LCLS-1 designs.
• LCLS-II will dovetail with the LUSI-II project. First light in 2018.
