Senior Center Registration Center Registration for the 2016-2017 year is now underway. Remember you need to renew your membership every year,
Registration is open to both County & Non-County Residents. You must be 60 years of age to register & membership is free.
Lunches are serv ed on T uesdays, Thursdays & on the 3rd Friday of every month at Noon. Menus for the
month are located next to our Sign up book in the main foyer in front of our MP Room. You
must sign up 3 days in advance for a meal Unless otherwise specified. If you need
to cancel your meal, please Call us 2 days in advance.

Get Ready! Get Set! Get Fit! 5K Run-Walk and 1 Mile WalkSunday, September 17, at 8 a.m.
Celebrate older adult health and fitness by participating in the 11th Annual Get Ready! Get Set! Get Fit! 5K Run-Walk and 1 Mile Walk to be held on the campus of CCBC Essex, 7201 Rossville Boulevard, on Sunday, September 17, 2017. The event, which is perfect for novice runners and families, starts at 8 a.m. and all roads on campus will be closed at that time. Door prizes, including a $500 Fitness Pays
Grand Prize sponsored by Van Dyke and Bacon Shoes, will be awarded (must be present to win). Participants receive a complimentary long-sleeved performance T-shirt, coffee, water on the course and post-race refreshments. First 200 onsite-participants receive a special swag bag! Vendors will be available to offer screenings, including blood pressure, vision, cancer screenings, falls and risks, strength testing, BMI (body mass index), along with other health services.
