Lack of exposure _ this results in poor choices, from grade 9 when the learners choose subjects, to grade 12 when they choose a career to follow.

The inability to use what is at our disposal to our advantage i.e. information on the internet , local community radio, local municipality

Side-lined (marginalised) by the education system_ the classroom is not accommodative of all learners’ abilities. It only caters and acknowledges certain attributes such as academic excellence, but offers little or no avenue for those who excel in the arts, sports or any other skill besides academic excellence.

Unidentified talents, gifts and unused skills. The youth in this group end up in a high percentage of drop outs, since they are unable to compete in the classroom, they also add to the large proportion of the unemployed youth of South Africa.

Some leaners find themselves out of school due age, they no longer qualify to further continue until grade 12, and instead of enrolling at FETs or adult school, a lot give up.

5. Vision, mission and objectives

Our business model relies on three key role players: the government, the community and the participants. We believe that as each take full responsibility the classroom education will be key to developing and shaping an individual preparing them to access the world beyond the classroom.
